ReplyDeleteI'm a Protestant as well. I'm not saying that Protestants are all like this. What I am saying is that our constant emphasis on intellectual assent and the ability to express it as the mark of a Christian pushes us to this pseudo-gnostic theology of the mind. The imago dei is not simply a description of our mind.
