Review of McClelland's Christmas Cheer

Thanks to brainexhaust, I have been enjoying a tin of aged 2006 Christmas Cheer. It's a well-aged pressed Virginia, served up in flakes, and featuring a slightly sweet dried fruit note, with a hint of that brightness inherent in a younger Virginia.

I confess that it surprised me a bit, since I expected some of the more overt spiciness and full body of some other Christmas blends out there. In that respect not the ideal Christmas Blend, but definitely a very worthy cold weather smoke. I'd suspect that any tin of the Christmas Cheer would be worth picking up.
