Moustaches Per Mare, Per Terram

I am so ridiculously pleased to have stumbled across this, and while I was searching for photos on a post I'm going to write against the evils of floppy hair. Pure serendipitous gold.

This is a photo of a Royal Marine in Afghanistan back in 2007. The BBC article here, Hirsute Marines Compete For Glory. Yes, compete. These Marines had a moustache competition!

The fact that this chap on our left rocked a pipe as well only makes The Giant love it all the more.
