How to Make Friends with Demons by Graham Joyce
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A really solid novel about wrestling with demons. The most refreshing thing about it was that it set demonic interactions in a way that wasn't particularly mystical, but spiritual in a quotidian kind of way. The less refreshing thing about it is that it took sort of a daemonic/psychological turn at the end. Still, a thoughtful story about humans on this middle earth.
