I heard an ice cream truck in the distance today. I couldn't be completely sure, but it sounded as if the truck was tootling Dixie.
My daughter asked me today when winter was coming, and I told her that it would be here in three months. She got very excited about snow, but I had to tell her that here in South Carolina we'll almost never get snow.
Pictures like this one make me sad about that. Enough to make me miss the North. I would love to be walking down that sidewalk.
