While I wouldn't call Moscow's weather unnaturally balmy this year, it has become quite clement of late, with trees blossoming and sending forth their beautiful fragrance. The daffodils, tulips, crocuses, and hyacinths are becoming mature (ahem), and I even saw irises blooming in some south-facing flowerbed. Yet not even all these are the extent of Spring's (and Summer's) perfumey delight. For a few days now, I've been able to walk past newly-mown lawns.
