Here's a Slate.com (yes, they often make me feel yicky too) bit on a Kerryian use of French...except the Slate guy points out that what he says doesn't sound like anything but gibberish. First he says "vouz-ete d'Haiti? D'accord", followed by "gobbledygobbledygook-through-my-nose". You can hear the sound byte here, or go over to Slate. There's some chance, I suppose, that the recording just isn't good enough, but I don't think so. I think he's a liar, and a sad, pathetic liar at that.
