Through Another

Well, the state of Florida's in the record books, beating out Texas' previous record of three hurricanes in a year, which dated from 1896.

Hurray!

Things weren't nearly as bad for Alachua County this time around, but it looks like the folks at my church might have been harder hit. The church building itself is fine, although we lost power, telephone, and cable this afternoon.

Short n' long of it: Swaits are all fine, Swait property is fine, and I shouldn't be knocked off the blogging course the way I was last time.

Update: Faith Church has four active ruling elders. Three have had trees fall on their houses this hurricane season. *ominous background music* Will the trees catch up to the Last Elder-Home Standing? Tune in soon, we're bound to have another storm!
