These guys don't believe in hell. They're just saying to themselves, "What can we say that will really hurt them? I know, we'll go with the hell thing."
There's been some talk about Reagan's death unifying the country. Baloney. Today's divisions loom as large on our future as the 1820's divisions over slavery and federalism did to that generation's. The country is divided philosophically, ethically, politically and geographically. Now that's just asking for trouble.
