Well, I was rereading/skimming through Peter Leithart's Against Christianity (see his new website here) and noticed (having missed it the first couple of times around) one of the finest puns Ah've ehvah seen:
[speaking of the city's life-rhythms] "In the modernist city, no quarter is given to these rhythms, not even the natural ritual of light and darkness."
no quarter...hooo!
And I'm sorry if y'all who have read the book all noticed the joke...I was so blown away by it I can't help but talk about it.
