Saw the extended version of The Two Towers yesterday. Faramir's not such a scumbag this time 'round, in fact, you see a l'il bit of the nobility that is his in the Real Story. Also, which put me in much better cheer, Pippin and Merry got to smoke a little Longbottom 'midst the wreckage of Isengard.
The smoking scene, combined with the really cool footage I've seen for the Lord of the Rings video game, has me excited again. Maybe I won't be so grumpy about things now.
