Flannery O'Connor T-Shirt Giveaway

In cleaning out the old Silver Chair Books building I came across a couple of these Flannery O'Connor t-shirts. I'd love to ship you one, but I'm going to make you work for it. You gotta go through this PunchTab rigamarole, it's actually really easy. You like me on Facebook, you tweet, maybe a little something else, but you don't leave this page. Done in twenty seconds. And there will be more Joffre The Giant enjoyers by the time you're done.

Allow me to suggest that the best way to enjoy this tee is to drink a little Dale's Pale Ale and eat a lamb's leg whilst wearing it. Follow that up with a pipe. That's what I did.

Contest will end Monday May 30.

  1. I'm not going to pretend I knew who Flannery O'Connor was before reading this post. (hope that doesn't hurt my chances). I've read some quotes and the one that I admire the most is..."I don't deserve any credit for turning the other cheek as my tongue is always in it."....Searching and reading peoples quotes over the years is a little hobby of mine and this woman has just made the list.

  4. Do note there's a bug in Punchtab. Since I was already a FB fan of Joffre the Giant, when I was done with Punchtab it told me I'd only earned 3 out of 4 entries instead of 4 out of 4, and told me I needed to become a fan for the extra point!

  12. Not only do I post scads of Flannery quotes on my blog, but I'm pretty sure I'm friends with the artist that drew the pic for the shirt.
